As exciting as it is when new missionaries come in, it is also a heartbreaking time.  We have to say goodbye to missionaries that we love so dearly.

Elder Vitorio and Elder and Sister Mills

Elder Vitorio had an expiring Visa and had to return home a few days before the rest of his group.  He will be a great leader in Brazil.

Elder and Sister Mills have been such an example to us and to our missionaries.

They have been such a strength to the members as they have tirelessly served and loved.

Sister Mills taught piano lessons on top of all of the other responsibilities she had and Elder Mills made the best sack lunches around.

(The Missionaries had enough treats in their Sunday lunches to last them all week!)

They will all be missed and forever loved.

A Rainy Day Walk in Hyde Park

A Happy Day!

Today was such a great day.  Our dear friends, Ellis Ivory and his adorable daughter, Jane Ivory Metcalf, stopped by for a much needed visit.  Ellis served as Mission President in the England Manchester Mission when Jane was a young girl.  They came to England with their family for a mission reunion trip.  We were so fortunate to be able to spend an afternoon with them.  Ellis has always been a wise friend to David and Jane is one of the most positive, fun friends I have ever known. They arrived with treats from home, Starburst and Sweettarts ( and other delicious candy) and Malt-O-Meal.

A Quick Trip to Surrey

Today we had to attend meetings at the London Temple Visitor's Center so we took a moment to photograph our Assistants, Elder Baker and Elder Thompson, at the door to the Temple.
